The verb "ser" means "to be" and is the most important verb in Spanish. Unfortunately, it's conjugation is very irregular which is why you'll have to memorize it:

In Spanish there are two definite articles in singular ("el" and "la"), one for each gender.
Masculine definite article:
el limón
the lemon

The Verb "haber" don't have any meaning, it is only an auxiliar verb as "to have" and is the second most important verb in Spanish after "ser". Its conjugation is also irregular:
